Terri Sterling Donovan, APR, is principal of Sterling Communications, a 27-year-old marketing communications, marketing research and public relations firm. Sterling Communications serves clients with strategy, messaging, content and execution to grow their businesses and organizations. Terri Sterling is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Sterling Communications develops marketing communications and public relations plans, strong promotions and creative ideas for the Web, digital marketing, media relations, traditional marketing and advertising.
Terri conducts market research through focus groups and one-on-one interviews and is trained in focus group moderation by world leader Burke Institute.
Terri Sterling has won multiple awards from PRSA; was the 2010 Nashville ATHENA nominee from RutherfordCABLE; and is currently a Master of Science degree candidate at MTSU in Media and Communications.
Terri is the founding President of RUTHERFORD Cable, a business and professional organization with more than 265 members; a two-term member of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Executive Committee; and the recipient of the 2003 Chairman’s Award from the Chamber. Terri currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Murfreesboro Cold Patrol and the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring.
Terri is married to Mike Donovan, and she has two grown sons: Chris and Jordan.
