September Breakfast Meeting Keynote:

Kim Riley

President, Hylant Consultants

Preparation:

The Key to Networking Effectively

Networking events can prove intimidating to even the most gregarious of professionals. Make the most of your time by arriving prepared with a strong plan and effective strategy.

This is just one of the many tips for successful networking Kim Riley will share with us.

Learn to stand out from a crowd, beginning with the single most important moment – entering the room – and continue setting yourself apart with a well-crafted elevator speech, business card strategy, and techniques for working a room.

By knowing your audience, you can effectively select a signature statement and set your networking goals. Then prepare for your next event by planning and organizing an attendee list, targeting your approach to each person, and utilizing social media before and after the event to optimize your connections.

About Kim Riley

A 30-year veteran of the insurance industry, Kim Riley was named president of Hylant Consultants in 2011 and was tasked with overseeing the sales team and promoting the Hylant name in the Nashville marketplace.

In 2012, Riley completed the acquisition of two firms, which doubled the size of the Nashville operations.
