May Breakfast Meeting

Registration for the May 14 breakfast meeting is now closed. A limited number of seats are available for walk-ups, first come, first served, the day of the meeting, with an admission charge of $25.00 for members. Prepaid members will be charged a $5.00 late fee. Walk-up guests will be charged $30 and subject to the same first come, first serve rule. Please bring cash or check to pay for your registration. Who are the people you’ve encountered through out your life that have made that big impression? Had lasting effect? Changed your way of thinking?  Join us as Laura Hollingsworth of Opry Entertainment Group takes us on a journey to explore the Wonder Women in her life.  Hear the way they helped shape her both professionally and personally and how they inspired her to be a Wonder Woman for other young women. 

 
Laura Hollingsworth 

Laura Hollingsworth is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Opry Entertainment Group / Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc.  Prior to joining Ryman in April of 2018, she spent a 29-year career in news media, most recently as President of The Tennessean and of the USA TODAY NETWORK TENNESSEE, including Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, Clarksville, and Murfreesboro.  Before arriving in Nashville, Laura served as President and Publisher of The Des Moines Register in Iowa for many years and was a Group President for the Gannett Company with oversight of 26 media markets throughout the country.

In her current role, Hollingsworth is responsible for shaping and leading the brand strategy for all Opry Entertainment Group experiences including the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, WSM-AM and online, and Ole Red, as well as for Opry content and digital productions.   Laura is very active in the Nashville region, serving on multiple boards of directors. Her passions include family, travel, and of course, music.

Laura is married to John, a senior banking professional.  They have three children; a daughter, Kayla, and twins, Josh and Kendall.
