Rarely, do you get to pick your bosses, peers or co-workers. Leaders rarely get to pick their team members, but are expected to develop them individually, engage them collectively and mold them into an effective, results-oriented group. You inherit the people in your organization, just like you do your family. Regardless, you have to work with them or minimally peacefully co-exist with them, just like your family. They are all different and what it takes to get things done when they’re involved in a project sometimes seems impossible. You will get several principles and real world strategies for handling these difficult situations so you get better outcomes and can increase bottom-line results. All of this is interspersed with funny, and not so funny, real-life stories and examples from Margaret's own life and career as well as the careers of other effective leaders.

About Margaret Morford

Margaret is CEO for The HR Edge, Inc., an international management consulting and training company. Her clients range from global conglomerates and Fortune 50’s to small start-ups. Previous to owning her own company, Margaret has worked as an attorney, specializing in employment law as well as been a senior executive with three large companies. She is often quoted as a business expert in newspapers and magazines including Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, USA Today, MSNBC, CBS Money Watch and Entrepreneur Magazine She is the author of two business books and serves on, as well as advises, for-profit and not-for-profit Boards of Directors. Who: Members and Guests. Registration closes at noon on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 5 pm. We have seats set aside for walk-up registrations, but there is a $5 late fee for walk-up registration.
