Agenia Clark is the President and CEO of Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee.  Before joining Girl Scouts, she was Vice President of Human Resources, Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation; Senior Director of Human Resources, Vanderbilt University; and worked in government relations, marketing, business ethics and human resources at Nortel Networks.  

Clark has held numerous volunteer positions within the Girls Scouts organization, including two terms as Chair of the Board of Directors. She is the recipient of the Thanks I  and Thanks II badges, the highest honor bestowed upon a Girl Scout volunteer.

She serves on the Board of Directors of Avenue Bank, the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, as a member of the Steering Committee for Nashville’s Agenda and has recently joined the Nashville Opera Board.

She serves on the Advisory Council to the Vanderbilt Center for Nashville Studies and is an Advisory Council Emeritus for the College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Clark is an alumnus of Leadership Nashville and serves on its annual planning committee;  is a member of the Downtown Nashville Rotary;  and is a member of the Vestry Church of the Advent Episcopal Church.

In addition to her community service, Clark serves on several task forces for Girl Scouts of the USA.

According to the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, Clark was one of the 2007 Forward 50 leading the Music City into its future; she was one of Nashville Business Journal’s 2007 Most Influential Women;  and she was a 2007 inductee into the Academy for Women of Achievement.   The Tennessee Women’s Economic Council also honored Agenia with the 2007 E Award.  She’s a 2012 Nashville Post Person-In-Charge and Women of Power.

Clark has a bachelor of science degree and a master of business administration degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is married to Charles Clark, Jr.  They have two children and reside in Brentwood, Tennessee. In her spare time, Clark enjoys family trips, running, cooking and her book clubs.
