About the Speaker:
Deb Palmer George is an independent consultant in practice since 2001. She is dedicated to helping people, individually and collectively, build on strengths to create wonderful futures for themselves and those who matter most to them. Deb is certified in Appreciative Inquiry (AI) by CASE Western Reserve University where this “positive revolution in change” was pioneered.   She works from a gestalt approach to help clients and audiences unleash positive energy and focus on what they want to be and do for themselves and those whom they lead, serve, or support.

Highlights of Deb’s experience as a business and volunteer leader with over 25 years experience in business and community service include:

• Beginning her career in sales and holding successive positions in Sales and General Management, as Corporate Recruiting and Training Manager, then Director, Training and Strategic Planning leading to role as Vice President, Human Resources and Business Development.
  
  
• Serving as a nonprofit  volunteer, board director and officer in workforce and community development, career education, health and human services, and the arts. For her efforts in workforce development & education, Deb was named the Ohio Vocational Education Association’s Person of the Year in Business Education.  Currently, Deb serves as the Board Chair of JUMP and as the Nashville CABLE board strategic planning advisor.
