Emily Ellis will share with us what she has learned through her years of experience with world-class companies such as Gaylord and Disney.  She will discuss her top 5  techniques from real-life examples  and will provide practical take aways that you will use as soon as you leave the meeting that apply in any situation in which you are called on to lead. 


About Emily Pentecost Ellis

Emily Ellis is principal consultant at Education and Training Concepts, a company focused on culture integration, leader development, and customer service. She is a program designer and facilitator for the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s Educational Institute where she has served on the certification commission and the training advisory council.

As former Vice President for Training and Development at The Gaylord Entertainment Company she had oversight of all on-boarding, orientation and training aspects of the hotel brand/openings and ensured that appropriate processes were in place to develop a service culture across all Gaylord businesses. In her years with Gaylord, she worked with both senior leadership and line staff from all areas of the company. She directed training, management development, quality assurance and communications for the Opryland Hospitality and Attractions group and had the vision for a corporate Gaylord University for which she became director.

Prior to Gaylord , Emily worked for the Walt Disney Company and the Orange County FL Public School District.
