October Breakfast Meeting Keynoter:

Dr. Christine Bradley

Assistant Vice Chancellor, Community, Neighborhood and Government Relations, Vanderbilt University

You Are Your Job

People = Their Jobs.  What does this mean? Christine Bradley, Vanderbilt University Assistant Vice Chancellor, believes our first job responsibility is our own personal growth.

“We can’t overstate the importance of becoming the best possible person, family member and colleague we can.”

No matter what job we find ourselves in, Bradley says it’s imperative that we strive to improve ourselves every day so we bring the best possible person to our day–to-day activities.  As a result, we make ourselves even more valuable today and in the future.

“If we find ourselves in a job that isn’t our ‘dream job,’ striving to be the best person we can be, even in that job, motivates us to look inward for solutions. And that’s where the answers are.”
