April Breakfast Meeting
Juggling Passion with “Adulting”
A Presentation by
Knight Stivender
Millennials are often labeled as entitled or lazy, but they’re also passionate, tech-savvy, and entrepreneurial. Millennials who graduated from college only to be thrust into the Great Recession are a part of what is arguably the most inspired and enthusiastic generation since Boomers championed for Civil Rights, feminism and an end to the war in Vietnam. How can they channel their passion for better communities into action and tangible results while managing “day jobs” and paying the bills? During her presentation, Knight Stivender will showcase young women who are making a difference while balancing real-life demands, and provide practical tips for how Cable members can follow in their footsteps.
