ATHENA Nontraditional Scholarship

The “Return to the Workforce Scholarship” is awarded to a Rutherford County woman who is pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree later in life. Among other requirements; each applicant must complete a 300-word essay describing how she has embodied ATHENA’s characteristics of wisdom, strength, and justice in her own life and endeavors. 

The Rutherford ATHENA Award Program will announce the recipient of the 2017 ATHENA Nontraditional scholarship at the 2017 ATHENA Award Ceremony on April 27, 2017 at Embassy Suites Murfreesboro.
