Many of us give our precious time every month to serving on different boards in our community whether they be for non-profit organizations or civic groups.

Imagine being paid for your volunteer work...

As we inch closer and closer to total gender equality with our male cohorts, there is still a long way to go in terms of salary and corporate board diversity gaps.

If you’re interested in giving yourself an edge by obtaining a corporate board position in the future, then please save the date for The Pink Edge, a RutherfordCABLE event sponsored by StaffMark, on Tuesday, July 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the 15th floor of the NHC Building, 100 Vine Street.

This free wine and cheese and panel discussion will feature three speakers (see below) that will address the following:

  •  What steps should you take career-wise, to position yourself for a corporate board appointment?
  • What are the opportunities for joining a Corporate Board and how do you get connected?
  • How do corporate boards function?
  • How do you get appointed to Corporate Boards?

There is no cost to you for this great event, but reservations are required to reserve your spot as space is limited.
