About the Rutherford ATHENA
Patrons Society
This year, 2014, is the inaugural year of the Rutherford ATHENA Leadership Program®.
We are introducing a category of sponsorship---the Patrons Society---this year to provide an ongoing foundation of sustainability and to improve upon ATHENA’s success throughout the Rutherford County community.
The purpose of the Rutherford ATHENA Patrons Society is to provide the ATHENA Award Program with much-needed funding and to provide Society members added benefits. The Patrons Society is supported by both women and men who have been and are a part of the ATHENA legacy and who are committed to its continuation.
Drawing from the ranks of past ATHENA nominees, judges, committee members, as well as RutherfordCABLE board members and leaders, the Rutherford ATHENA Patrons Society represents a cross-section of Rutherford Countians who are dedicated to the ATHENA leadership model and who promote the personal and professional success embodied by the spirit of ATHENA.
For a $150 contribution, ATHENA Patrons Society members receive numerous benefits including:
- reserved seating at the May 15 event (your event ticket is included in your $150 contribution, a $50 value)
- recognition in promotional materials and during the May event, and
- an invitation-only event May 14, to name just a few.
But, perhaps the greatest benefit is the knowledge that each Patron’s support will sustain this important program and provide a solid platform for future recognition of Rutherford County women who have excelled personally and professionally.
